Assessment

Getting to know you and your daily routines in detail

Seamless Technology Integration

Technology needs to seamlessly fit into your routine and the activities you carry out with in it.  The Assessmenmt is not about how much technology you can be sold, its about gaining a balance and providing options utilising existing capabilities where possible.

  • Full daily routine assessment focussing on all parts of life (or just the areas you want to discuss!)
  • Assess environment at home, education, and work. 
  • Review all aspects of existing technology and evaluate potential new technology.
  • Provision of a Report outlining the details of the assessment and recommendations and options that support you and your daily routines.
  • Discussion to talk through the report and provide support on the decision of approach

Now its time for part 1 of the technology Focus where we do what we do.  Preparing the solution for you.

  • We work with the user and their care and support team to select the correct solution(s).
  • Our Technical team then builds and configures the solution for the user base.
  • The Technical team carry out full testing of all aspects of the solution to ensure correct functionality and that it is ready for delivery.
  • Full instructions and overview of each part of the solution are given in an accessible form.
  • Prepare all trades ready for installation of equipment where specialist skills are needed e.g. Electrical and Heating.
  • We deliver the solution and Install.

Getting to Know Your Technology

Integrating the Technology Seamlessly

If you, your carers and Support team understand the technology and are confident in its use it will seamlerssly integrate in to everyday life.

  • If you can’t use the technology it wont be effective, leading to it being shelved.
  • Adapt-IT recognise without effective training for the user the investment is lost.
  • But training doesn’t stop at the user. It is important that the entire care and support team also understand the technology and capabilities at a suitable level to support the user.
  • Training for the User, Care Team, Support Team, Parents and Guardians, and Teachers.
  • Providing the best approach for the people being trained, whether face to face or virtual – we have it covered.
  • Making sure that what is being taught is done in an accessible way and in chunks that are manageable.
  • Repetition is key and self learning is important. But don’t worry – Adapt-IT are with you every step of the way.
