Add tasks, images, headings and handwritten notes to your events. You can also add official definitions, powered by Wikipedia, to your notes.

Event Reviewing

With features such as QuizMe, AI Outline and Focus Timer, event reviewing and digesting content is simple and effective.

Customisation

With different layout options, colour themes and home page options, you can customise Glean however you’d like.

Live Captions

Live Captions make it easy to understand spoken content by providing a real-time transcript while recording.

Genio Present

Genio Present is a presentation rehearsal tool that helps students of all abilities reduce anxiety and build lasting communication skills.

Existing support often focuses on live delivery, but they don’t help students build confidence before they present. That leaves many just trying to “get through it” – rather than developing the skills and self-belief they need to succeed.

It allows you to record yourself presenting – with slides, audio and video – and review as often as needed to build confidence in private, while tracking focus areas to see how you’re progressing over time.

Quiz Me

Quiz me is an AI feature within Genio that takes your notes and transforms them into multiple choice questions.

MCQs force your brain to actively recall information instead of passively re-reading notes, strengthening your memory and solidifying what you know.

Daily, low-stakes quizzing, promotes “desirable difficulty,” where cognitive effort strengthens learning. Studies show that desirable difficulty slows down learning in the short term but enhances long-term retention.

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge Extension

Alongside the Genio app, there is a browser extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

With a handy side panel, users can take notes directly alongside lectures and videos, maximising focus and retention, and ensuring they don’t miss out on key information.

Anything recorded within the Genio Extension is synced with the web and mobile apps to allow users to pick up their notes in their own time, whether in class/work or on the go.

You must be a Genio user (excluding the Genio Teams plan) to access this extension.
