IT Disability NewsA new scheme backed by Microsoft, allows you to buy a desktop computer from £99, including carriage.

The scheme is called GetOnline@Home and to get the full discounted price you must be on receipt of benefits, otherwise the price is £149.00 – still not a bad deal!

Laptops are also available but a bit more expensive at £179.00 (or £149.00 if you are on eligible benefits) and there are recommended broadband deals from £2.99 per month.

The computers are reconditioned, which means that they are PCs that have been disposed of by large organisations, reconditioned with a new keyboard and mouse and are now offered via these scheme.
