Celebrity Master Chef

If ever proof was needed that having only one arm instead of the usual two is not the end of the world, you only have to look as far as Danny Crates, Paralympian and MasterChef contender.

In MasterChef series 10*, episode 3, Danny showed no sign of needing assistance in the kitchen. His enjoyment of cooking and his cooking skills were evident to all. Unfortunately, episode 4 saw him miss out on a place in the semi-final.

At age 21, Danny lost his arm in a car accident, since when he returned to his love of sport, playing rugby, before embarking on his now famous Paralympian career. Within ten years, in 2004, he won a gold medal for running 800m in Athens and also set a world record.

Apart from competing with fellow celebrities on MasterChef, Danny is a motivational speaker, inspiring audiences around the world.
